How did you get in this server?

I started playing Minecraft when it had just entered Beta. I had just moved to a new town where I didn't know anyone except my husband (then fiance), who I lived with. He bought it for me because I had been talking about how cool it sounded for a while. It was a nice way to be creative and take my mind off of being lonely as I adjusted.

I played in single player for a really long time. I finally got fed up with making neat things but not being able to share them with people, as well as not being able to actually explore the neat things others made. I did some research and tried a few multi-player servers but only lasted about a day on each one because of the rampant griefing, idiotic members, and pitiful quality of the builds.

I ended up posting a lame self post on r/minecraft asking for server recommendations. I got a nice comment from tomisafish that spoke well of Renegades, so I whitelisted. Seriously, I really do love this server. Compared to all the others I've tried it is filled with much more interesting and fun people. I have only been here for a few months but I already <3 you guys and the server. Thanks for giving me such a good place to build!
