In late September 2010 or early October 2010, I was getting bored from playing the single player version of Minecraft ( I'm an Alpha 1.0.2_01 guy :3), so I stated looking around on the forums for a server to join. I checked out a lot of non-whitelist servers with no specification in mind of what type of server I really wanted to join. They were awful. Then, I stumbled upon a topic that had just been bumped by this Vodka chump called Renegades. I clicked on it, and was happy to see there was only a page and a half of replies, most being Pri's. I quickly signed up for a spot on the server, and waited at my desktop for an hour waiting for a reply, before relising that Pri's English and that it was late. When I woke up in the morning, I was thrilled to see I was accepted, and went on that afternoon. There was one thing built: a giant ass grey pile of shit in the middle of a perfectly nice area (if any of you oldies remember it was where the giant tree used to be across from Bieb's pig farm), and across from it was a mineshaft with nothing in it. I logged off, disappointed, and later in the day I logged on to find this lovely chap named Tomisafish on the server. One conversation later, and I was hooked.

P.S. I will be coming back on the server once my new computer has arrived (delayed). Hoping to see you guys soon

Reading some of the posts in this thread are genuinely making me laugh and smile quite a lot. I hope they keep Pri/Vod inspired to keep on hosting the server for a long time to come.

Long time ago, back when Minecraft had first came out and Seananners had picked it up and started commentary on that, I started playing it as well. Multiplayer seemed to always be under maintenence at the time, so I just thought I'd play Single Player all the time. Talk that a new update, I believe it was "Alpha, Indef, or Indev," which ever came first, (can't remember) where multiplayer really kicked off for me, but I couldn't find a server. I found a website that listed Minecraft servers. I saw some were really booming, but I've never liked a crowd, so I skipped through the pages that were farther into, and found The Renegades Server, from that point I registered my account on MXPulse.com, and on Monday, December 20th, I joined this fine server. Best decision of my life.
