This downtime has been cancelled because it now turns out that the fans inside the boxes have not failed and instead it is the fan controlling circuitry of the boxes that are at fault, replacing the fans will thus not fix it and I've decided to instead unplug the fans from the controller for the time being until a long term solution I am happy with can be implemented.
