Ok so basically, the main interface of the server (The GUI) stopped responding completely. There was nothing I could do to fix it without rebooting. When I did that soon as the server came back up I started getting errors from one of the backup disks on the server (A Seagate which I use just for backups) that had almost failed completely. Its health was being reported at 9%.
So I whipped that disk out, replaced it with another backup disk. And everything is now back up and running and working perfectly.
