You probably aren't banned, if you were banned I think a message would pop up saying that you're banned, blah blah blah, I myself haven't seen this but I think that's how it goes. Maybe your internet connection to the server is not fit shape, and well, there's your answer.

Server was down

The server was down for about 18 minutes. What happened was Java on the server which is what all our Minecraft stuff runs from crashed. That took down all four of our servers, our bungeecord instance and our server watchdog which monitors the servers and restarts them when they crash. I'll be investigating why this occurred and hopefully come up with a solution later today.
