minecraft multiplayer down?

So i went on today and saw that all the servers i usually go on have like 1% of how many people are usually on. :/ is this with everyone?

Mojang's session servers are down, getting DDOSed. Bear in mind that Microsoft, a multi billion dollar tech company owns them, and cant protect a DDOS attack.
