can't protect trapped chests

Hey, i found out that towny doesnt protect trapped chests and deadbolt doesnt protect them either. is there anything you can do about this Pri?

lol, i meant the item "Trapped Chests" i dont actually trap my chests so i cant get to them

but i understand if it is out of your control

It's definitely possible to make a plugin that is like lockette for trapped chests but..towny... you'd have to edit the source code and add a listener. SINCE bukkit hasn't really updated since 1.4.7 and I am making a plugin right now, there is no listener for trapped chests are far as I know. Maybe pri could code a simple plugin like that when bukkit updates 1.6 or at least 1.5.

Or just not use trapped chests to store your actual goods. Just use regular chests for that and trapped chests for fun
