Telepads & You

Many of you that have played on our Survival server will have used at one time or another the Teleportation pads or "Telepads" which are used at the Survival spawn. These are from a plugin and today I've opened it up so all players can now create telepads.

Telepads as their name suggests allows you to teleport from one place to another.

To create a telepad simply get a Lanturn, place it down then power it with redstone. Then stand on top of the telepad and type /createpad <name>

Then do the same thing somewhere else but name it something different. Then type the following: /padlink <pad1> <pad2>

So for example if I created two pads called VodkaHome and VodkaWork I could then type /padlink VodkaHome VodkaWork and those two pads would be forever linked together.

If you decide you want to lock your pad you simply unpower the lanturn and then that pad cannot be used anymore.

This change is now live right now so please go forth and build amazing things. The border on Survival has also been increased by another 500 blocks in all directions so there is a great reason to start a new base somewhere remote and make use of the new Telepad permissions you have.
